A few instruments can be inserted and used simultaneously during endosurgical interventions. We have developed the simulator’s tracking system regarding this important feature.

Endosurgical system imitation

Simulator use provides an opportunity to study basic principles of laparoscopic equipment imitators handling, including instruments, endovideocamera and trocars. Work with laparoscopic stand and its medical equipment control units (including endoscopic camera imitator, endoscopic light source imitator, aspiration-irrigation system imitator, insufflator imitator, electrosurgical generator imitator) allows students to learn and understand the whole process of endosurgical interventions.

Sigmoid colon resection

The module comprises 2 stages helping necessary of sigmoid colon resection skills training:
- Vessels cutting, mobilization and intersection of the sigmoid colon;
- Anastomosis

Abdominal cavity diagnostics

The module is designed for laparoscopic diagnostics performance skills training. During the exercise one should perform a detailed checkup of the abdominal cavity and determine further intraoperative treatment tactics.
